The Osteopathic Practice is a vibrant and family centred practice based in Broomhill, Sheffield. Chris Johnson is a registered Osteopath, Cranial Osteopath and is qualified through his Masters in Paediatric Osteopathy to treat babies and children.

✨”We first came to the osteopathic practice 4 weeks ago to see Chris because my 6 week old baby had been missed for tongue tie and had a division with another private healthcare professional. She then recommended Chris afterwards for some treatment. He was suffering with reflux, colic symptoms, being really unhappy and wouldn’t lie on his back for a long period of time and couldn’t move his head fully to one side. At my first appointment with Chris I was greeted by Rachel who was really lovely and welcoming, he then asked lots of questions regarding my birth, how my baby was day to day, and my concerns. He explained everything in detail as to why these things can occur and put me at ease from the very start. I can honestly say from the first appointment I seen a difference within my baby. Three more sessions later and I have my happy baby boy back. Chris, you really are a miracle worker. Thank you!“✨

✨”We visited Chris at the Osteopathic Practice with our two day old baby after being recommended by our midwife post tongue-tie division. Before the appointment baby H had not latched properly at all and was being very fussy at the breast, we had resorted to feeding him expressed milk off a spoon. Chris was very thorough and made us feel really comfortable. He treated our baby for some tension in his head, it was all very gentle. As soon as I got home baby H latched and fed on both sides- such a relief! Completely worth every penny for a happy baby with a full tummy. Thank you x“✨

We’re thrilled to welcome Pooja, one of several new osteopaths joining us over the coming months. Her arrival opens up even more access to hands-on care — and brings with it some exciting new developments!
