We’re getting involved in Children’s Mental Health Week here at Specsavers Crystal Peaks, and we’d love you to join us!

👕 Our team will be dressed in clothes that make them feel HAPPY – bright colours, comfy outfits, and lots of personality!
😊 We want to help start positive conversations about feelings, confidence, and wellbeing.

👀 Half-Term Treat for Kids
It’s February half-term, so we’re inviting all children into store for their eye tests, and every child who comes in will receive a FREE treat 🍬🎁

👂 Parents & Grandparents – We Look After Ears Too!
We don’t just care for eyes 👀 — we also look after hearing 👂
Our audiology team will be in store and happy to answer any questions about hearing checks, hearing loss, or hearing aids. No pressure, just friendly advice 💬

💙 Supporting a Brilliant Cause
We’ll be raising money for Place2Be, a charity that supports children’s mental health and wellbeing in schools across the UK.

Todays we had a home game against Worksop SJR in cold 🥶 and very bright 🌞 conditions.

We started off in good form we went a goal up through Edward ⚽️ with a neat finish at the far post following a good cross from Louie. Worksop slowly played into the game and managed to find an equaliser against the run of play. We managed to grab a second goal before half time following some good play, Caleb had a decent effort that was spilled by the worksop keeper and on the second attempt Louie managed to poke it home.

Second half the game became a little scrappy, we had a couple of chances but the worksop keeper managed prevent us scoring a third goal which the performance deserved. Towards the end of the game worksop started to throw bodies forward looking for a equaliser which eventually came and we just couldnt find a winner in the remaining minutes.
