DAWS Community Gym Sheffield The gym is run by Stephen who is a GP Referral and Level 3 & 4 local health and disability fitness instructor.

Our mission statement - To create a safe and friendly gym and exercise environment for all impaired individuals and clients wishing to contribute to their wellbeing. D.A.W.S Community Gym (Disability Awareness with Sport) Our mission statement is to create a safe and friendly gym and exercise environment for all impaired individuals and clients wishing to contribute to their wellbeing without fear of ridicule or prejudice. To be advocates for engaging the local impaired and ill health individuals in the community to become healthier and fitter for their everyday living activities regardless of age, background or financial status. We are a non-profit community gym that promotes a friendly and social atmosphere which often leads to gym members creating their own social events outside of the gym. Stephen himself is disabled and understands where you may be coming from regarding both physical and mental struggles.
