Back in February (yes I’m a little bit late in posting!) Nurse Sophie and I completed our Cryopen training for the removal of unwanted skin lesions such as skin tags, and age spots.

CryoPen works by delivering a controlled freezing jet directly to the lesion. Following treatment, the area typically forms a small crust or blister and naturally sheds, removing the lesion, within around 7–10 days.

This year has been full of growth, renovations and making memories with my little girl.

Exciting news!

I’m delighted to announce that from the 6th of November, our beautiful new DermaLuxe clinic will welcome Nurse Sophie to the team.

I’m very particular about who joins our award-winning team, as quality and patient care always come first. But having observed Sophie performing a range of treatments, I know our customers are in safe, skilled hands.

Sophie has a background as a facialist prior to her NHS nursing and advanced aesthetics training (and she also trained with the same aesthetics training company as I did), so she has a great skill set for our customers.

Sophie will offer appointments on Wednesdays, Thursday evenings, Fridays and Saturdays. Her services include:

Trained by the UK’s number 1 Aesthetic training provider, our registered nurse practitioner and independent nurse prescriber, Rachel, is educated to Master’s level in Advanced Nursing Practice. If you are looking for natural-looking results that make you look well-rested and more youthful, you have come to the right place!

DermaLuxe Aesthetics is proud to be a certified member and Registered Practitioner with the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group, to ensure your safety. Membership is only available to doctors, dentists, nurses and prescribing pharmacists who have current registration with their professional body. You can find DermaLuxe Aesthetics listed on the ACE Group website under the ‘find a practitioner’ search. Rachel also holds full registration with the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses, The Nursing and Midwifery Council, and The Royal College of Nursing.

Rachel continues to work for the NHS in a senior role as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and keeps her aesthetic skills and knowledge up to date by regularly attending training sessions, workshops and conferences. This ensures DermaLuxe Aesthetics provides clients with the best possible service and latest products.
