Our Flu Vaccination Service has now started for 2023/24. We are providing free NHS flu vaccinations to those who are eligible.

We are operating a drop-in service throughout the day and an appointment system. You can book an appointment by ringing us on 0114 2654306 or through our website at

This year the NHS flu vaccine is available to people who fall into the following criteria:

• Aged 65 and over
• Chronic Respiratory disease (Asthma or COPD)
• Heart disease
• Kidney disease
• Liver disease
• Neurological disease (Including learning disability)
• Diabetes
• Immunosuppression
• Asplenia / Splenic dysfunction
• Learning Disability
• Pregnant Women
• Carer
• Morbid Obesity
• Household contact of an immunocompromised individual
• Social Care workers
• Hospice workers
• Workers employed through Direct Payments and/or Personal Health Budgets to deliver domiciliary care.
