Theraplay Thursday!

Theraplay is a structured play therapy focused on strengthening the relationship between a child and their caregivers. It uses playful, interactive activities to enhance attachment, self-esteem, trust, and joyful engagement. By engaging in nurturing and challenging interactions, Theraplay helps children feel secure, connected, and worthy.

Theraplay Game: Pop Cheeks
Blow out your cheeks “as big as chipmunk” and have your child pop your cheeks (use side of thumbs rather than pointy fingers as these can hurt!) then do the same with your child. Repeat as many times as the child enjoys. Should be fun/joyful.
