I saw a little girl at school pick-up today, crouched over a puddle, just… watching.
Not splashing. Just gazing.
Fully absorbed in the light bouncing off the surface, her reflection rippling back up at her.
And I found myself thinking…
When did we lose that kind of wonder?
When did we stop being still enough to really see ourselves?
So much of what I do in session now comes back to this.
Sitting across from another woman.
Holding up a quiet, clear mirror.
Not fixing or rushing…just gently reflecting what I see and hear and sense.
The way her body tightens when she talks about rest.
The way her voice softens when she names what she misses about herself.
The ache that lives under the surface when she says, “I’m just tired all the time.”
Sometimes that’s all it takes - for someone to really see you again.
To hold up a mirror that isn’t distorted by expectation or shame or rush.
To remind you that you’re not too much, not broken.
You’re just human.
And you’ve been carrying too much without enough stillness to come back to yourself.
I’ve got space this week if this kind of witnessing is what you’re craving.
A pause. A mirror. A moment of your own.
