During lockdown and times of social distancing we all miss human touch, general social interaction and contact. It was particularly frustrating for therapists providing treatments, which although not a beauty treatment, were classed as nonessential during imposed Covid restrictions recently. Especially when given that these complementary therapies provide a valuable and positive effect on the wellbeing of so many.
As of the 3rd December these restrictions will once again be lifted and therapists can get back to doing what we love - providing much needed and beneficial treatment to help people maintain both physical and mental good health.
All forms of massage will produce increased vascular blood flow (which in turn gives enhanced lymph drainage) and reduction of cortisol. This in turn allows our bodies to more successfully remove toxins, increase our immune system responses and maintain a calmer and more balanced equilibrium between body and mind.
So moving forward towards the end of a pretty chaotic and unique start to the first year of a new decade, I am happy to recommence bookings and enter boldly into the new roaring 20s.
