As the Christmas festivities begin to wind down, we can’t help but smile as we look back on some of our favourite moments from the big day 🎄✨

Our annual Christmas breakfast was the perfect way to start the celebrations, with residents and their families coming together to enjoy a delicious morning feast and raise a toast to such a special day 🥂💛 Moments like these really remind us what Christmas is all about ... togetherness, laughter and love.

One of the most heart-warming parts of the day was, of course, gift giving 🎁 Seeing the smiles light up our residents’ faces as they opened their presents was truly priceless and filled our home with so much joy 😊💫

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so magical memories we’ll be cherishing for a long time to come ❤️

Another project officially ticked off the list for 2025 ✅🎨

Our residents had such great fun getting creative with a stone cast moulding project, complete with themed decoupaging ✨ From moulding their chosen sculptures to carefully preparing and decorating each piece, every step was full of focus, laughter, and pride.

Being able to add their very own artwork to their bedrooms makes projects like this even more special ❤️ It gives rooms that truly personalised touch, while also bringing that wonderful sense of achievement and pride that comes from creating something yourself.

A beautiful reminder that it’s the little details – and personal creativity – that help a place really feel like home 💫

What a truly special Christmas treat we had at The Burlington recently 🎄✨

We were absolutely delighted to welcome the Spelthorne Police Cadets, who joined our residents for a heart-warming evening filled with games 🎲, laughter 😄, good company 💬 and plenty of festive chatter. Moments like these remind us just how powerful community connections can be. Different generations coming together, sharing stories, smiles, and a whole lot of Christmas cheer ❤️

A huge thank you to the cadets for bringing such warmth, kindness, and energy into our home. It was an evening we’ll be smiling about for a long time to come 🥰

Christmas Eve magic isn't just at the North Pole. ✨ This year, four elves made a special journey, visiting Brampton Manor, The Burlington, Chartwell House, and our newest home, Keymer Hall. What they discovered along the way reminded us why we do what we do.

It's a story about laughter over racing memories, tender moments with old photographs, carols by the sea, and new beginnings in the shadow of the South Downs. 🎅

🍰✨ Were you lucky enough to grab a slice? ✨🍰

Our Boutique Care Homes Festive Fun Cake Competition entry was truly something special and our amazing kitchen team worked their socks off to create this festive masterpiece 🎄👏

From the creativity and care that went into every detail to the smiles it brought to residents, families and team members alike, this cake was about so much more than baking ❤️

It was a celebration of teamwork, talent and festive fun here at The Burlington Care Home.

We’re incredibly proud of our kitchen team for all their hard work (and for making it taste just as good as it looked 😉🍰).
