Every thought, word and action has a vibration and this radiates out into the field. So if you're walking round your head thinking about how bad things are, how s**t your life is, how useless you are, you are literally feeding every cell in your body with this negative input, and you are then sending this out into the world around you so that not only so you feel like crap, angry, sad, frustrated, but those around you begin to absorb and feel this low vibration. Before we know it we are surrounded by people who feel terrible, look sad and hopeless, emanate aggressive feelings and catastrophize about everything awful that could possibly happen...
Sound familiar?? If we are honest with ourselves, I believe we've all hung out in that headspace at one time or another.
Now I'm not suggesting that you think happy thoughts and "every little thing gonna be alright..." because that would suggest I'm ill informed and filling up the toxic positivity BS box that's thriving in the world, and it would be very harmful to those living with trauma, depression and mental health issues. But can we become more conscious of our thoughts, words and actions so that we begin to notice our patterns and those self destructive lines that seem to be on autoplay and repeat? If we begin to take more notice of these, then we have the possibility of making a choice in whether we are going to believe the thought or not, whether we are going to allow it to continue playing or whether its time to say "STOP! That's not the truth and I choose to see myself through the eyes of love!" And we keep doing it over and over so that we begin to weaken that pathway that is destructive and harmful, and we nurture that seed of love and hope...
