They’re waiting for you at the swimming pool .
Yes… not a joke.
The HPV virus that causes plantar warts loves places like:
🏊 swimming pools
🚿 public showers
🧖 saunas
🏨 hotels
🏋️ gyms
🩴 shared locker rooms

Why?

Because they offer:

✅ moisture
✅ warmth
✅ lots of bare feet
✅ tiny skin injuries
✅ the perfect conditions to “pick up a stowaway”

👣 What does infection look like in real life?

It only takes someone with a verrucae to:

After quick intervention, the nail was cleaned and the gel product was safely removed, allowing the natural nail to regrow.

Two months have passed - the nail has almost fully grown back, but a small onycholysis has appeared, so we are not applying a new nail set yet.
