We have a limited number of sessions available with some of our Therapists. These can be by telephone, video call or one to one sessions at our base in Shildon.

Hi we have had a face to face community counselling space become available

They are 6 sessions at a discounted rate and topped up from our commuty counselling fund.(client pays £5 per session)

One of our fabulous therapists returns to the fold this week after having a baby.

I am a fully qualified, (BSc (Hons), Dip. Counselling, MNCS Accred, MBACP) professionally registered Psychotherapist and counsellor. I trained at The Northern Guild for Psychotherapy, which is regarded as one of the best training organisations for psychotherapy and counselling in the UK. I am registered as a data controller with the ICO and I am insured and enhanced DBS checked.

I am a Humanistic Integrative therapist, which means my "eclectic" style of therapy is adaptable to the individual. The integrative approach views the client as a whole and considers many different therapy styles and approaches to find what works for the individual, and appeals most to their personality and attachment style. I use many techniques but specialise in Transactional Analysis. I see my clients as people, not jargon and I don't believe in putting a time limit on the therapeutic process. Everyone is different and has different needs.

We work not only with self referrals but with many local agencies, Universities and Victim Support and we offer telephone,video chat and one to one therapy.
