Today we say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Kathryn, Kevin and Christopher, who will be leaving ManHealth.

Between them, they have dedicated years of commitment, energy, compassion and sheer hard work to supporting men across County Durham and beyond. Their impact has been real, lasting and deeply appreciated.

From running weekly peer support groups, to delivering training, organising events, steering the organisation through challenges, and being a constant source of encouragement to the men we serve, they have each played a huge part in shaping what ManHealth has stood for.

Their passion for improving men’s mental, physical and social wellbeing has touched countless lives. The relationships they’ve built, the trust they’ve earned, and the difference they’ve made will stay long after today.

We are incredibly grateful for everything they have contributed over the years.
Please join us in wishing Kathryn, Kevin and Christopher the very best for the future. They leave with our sincere thanks, our respect, and our warmest good wishes.

Thank you for everything.

You will always be part of the ManHealth story. ❤️

Every Wednesday night in Bishop Auckland, something special happens. A group of men come together guitars in hand, worries left at the door and find comfort, laughter, and connection through the power of music.

Our Guitar Group isn’t about how well you play; it’s about how it makes you feel. Music has a way of saying what words sometimes can’t helping us relax, open up, and heal.

You don’t need to be an expert. You don’t even need to own a guitar. Just bring yourself, your curiosity, and maybe a song in your heart.

Whether you strum, sing, or simply sit and listen, you’ll leave feeling lighter than when you came in. 💙

A Powerful Conversation with Angus Ferguson – Ferryhill Mayor and Town Council Chair

This month we had the privilege of listening to Angus Ferguson, Mayor of Ferryhill and Chair of the Town Council, open up about his personal struggles with mental health and what a conversation it was.

Angus spoke with honesty, courage, and heart about the challenges he’s faced and the importance of men finding the strength to talk. His story is a reminder that mental health doesn’t discriminate it affects men from every walk of life, in every community, in every role.

By sharing his experience, Angus is helping to break stigma and encourage others to reach out when things feel difficult. Because sometimes, hearing someone else say, “I’ve been there too,” is exactly what another man needs to hear.

👏 A huge thank you to Angus for his openness, compassion, and leadership and showing that true strength lies in vulnerability.

📺 You can watch the full conversation now on YouTube we promise, it’s one that will stay with you.
