Saltaire Shiatsu

Saltaire Shiatsu I’d like to help you to feel more comfortable in your body; to have more energy for what you want Each session is tailored to meet your individual needs.

My name is Lis Dale and I’d like to help you to feel more comfortable in your body; to have more energy for what you want to do in life, and to wake up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead. I’d like you to be able to enjoy life even more and live your life to the full. I practice SHIATSU, a holistic massage therapy from Japan that combines western knowledge of how the body works with an eastern approach to health. It can help you to:
- relax and de-stress
- relieve pain and tension
- increase energy and vitality
- sleep better
- improve your mood

SHIATSU is ‘hands on’ yet not intrusive: there’s no needles, no oils and no need to undress. I use a mix of gentle holding and unwinding, acupressure, stretches and mobilisations in order to rebalance your body. And it feels good! Please get in touch for more information or to book - I have daytime, evening and weekend appointments available in Saltaire, Bradford. Wishing you the best of health

Lis

This Sunday 4:30 - 7pm at Victoria Hall, Saltaire.
I'll be doing short stress busting treatments at this lovely community event full of festive cheer. There's also santa; the wurlitzer organ; kids craft corner; local stalls; mulled wine and mince pies; carols around the christmas tree.
Come and find me if you'd like to find out more about shiatsu, try it out, top-up or buy a gift voucher.

There's ongoing research that shows that these are now the most common symptoms of having covid especially if you've had your 2 vaccines. So please watch out for these; rearrange your appointment and get a test. Stay safe, Lis

I'm really enjoying listening to the “Just One thing” Radio 4 podcast with Michael Mosley. The episodes are short, just 15 minutes, and explore free, simple, fun things we can do to improve our health and why. You’ll find that my Qigong class incorporates wholly or partially quite a few of them. Well worth a listen.

Surprisingly simple ways to boost your health and wellbeing - in one easy step.

I love walking and I'm usually able to find something to keep me interested but it's still useful to have some new ideas. Some of these, like Starling murmurations, I can only dream of though I still remember amazing ones in Bradford city centre in the 80s.
