✨ BIG NEWS FOR ORACLE OPTICIANS ✨
We are incredibly proud to welcome Sarah Bramham from Irlen® Centre North East to our practice here in Shipley as we begin an exciting working collaboration focused on delivering the very best eye care support for both children and adults.
This partnership is something we feel passionately about.
Irlen Syndrome, also known as visual stress, is a perceptual processing difficulty that can affect how the brain interprets visual information. It is not usually picked up by a standard sight test alone and can present as difficulties with reading, concentration, headaches, light sensitivity, poor tracking, and visual discomfort. It can affect both children and adults, and for many people it may be an overlooked piece of the puzzle. (irlennortheast.co.uk)
At Oracle Opticians, we strongly believe that optometry should remain at the heart of this journey.
That’s why we are so proud to be supporting families under one roof — combining a full comprehensive eye examination with Irlen screening and specialist support to ensure no aspect of visual health is missed.
For children who may be struggling with reading, focus, concentration, or who find schoolwork visually tiring, this could be a hugely important step in understanding what support they need. Equally, adults who experience headaches, visual stress, or difficulty concentrating when reading or using screens may also benefit. (irlennortheast.co.uk)
We believe in joined-up care, community support, and making sure our patients receive the right answers in one trusted place.
👁️ If your child is struggling with reading, concentration, or visual comfort, it may be worth booking an appointment or simply having a chat with myself, Jag, to see whether Irlen screening and a comprehensive eye examination may be appropriate.
