Yvette returned with another fantastic session of music and movement, bringing her usual spark of joy to Shipston Lodge! The room was full of laughter, rhythm and happy faces as everyone joined in the fun.

Will and Ted spent a lovely afternoon enjoying a mix of Jenga and jigsaws — two classic favourites here at Shipston Lodge! These moments of friendly competition and quiet concentration always bring plenty of smiles and laughter.

💕 A Time to Reflect 🕯️🌳

Two of our wonderful team members, Steph and Rachael, have created a beautiful Time to Reflect area here at Shipston Lodge. The centrepiece is a remembrance tree adorned with handcrafted hearts, each bearing the names of residents who have passed away.

Families and friends are invited to light a flameless candle in memory of their loved ones. It’s a peaceful, heartfelt space where memories are honoured and love continues to shine.

🌾 Harvest Festival at Shipston Lodge 🎹

We celebrated a beautiful Harvest Festival, giving thanks for the land, the produce, and the blessings of community. Residents and staff came together in reflection and song.

A special thank you to our very own Josephine, who played the piano for the hymns — it was a truly heartwarming and memorable service.

💗 Wear It Pink Day! 🎀

What a fantastic day we had for our Wear It Pink fundraiser in support of Breast Cancer Awareness! Head Chef Claire baked the most amazing gingerbread women, and we enjoyed lively entertainment from Sarah on the saxophone and clarinet, followed by a quiz and some fun balloon tennis!

It was a day full of laughter, energy and community spirit, all for an important cause. Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make it such a success.

Today, the Taylor & Taylor Care family — including everyone here at Esmere Gardens — is proudly supporting Breast Cancer Now by taking part in Wear It Pink on Friday 24th October 2025.

We’ll be dressing in pink, hosting themed activities and raising vital funds to help make life-changing research and care possible for those affected by breast cancer. 🌸

Tomorrow Think Pink at Shipston Lodge 🎀🎂

On Friday 24th October, we’ll be joining homes across Taylor & Taylor Care to take part in Wear It Pink — supporting Breast Cancer Now with themed fun, laughter and fundraising! 🌸

Residents and staff will enjoy pink-themed activities including a Guess the Weight of the Cake, a Pink Coin Treasure Hunt, and a DIY photo frame for all our pictures.

Every pound raised helps fund research and support for people living with breast cancer. 💕

Let’s make this a day full of colour, compassion and community spirit! 💗
