We’ve put together a practical pre-competition tune-up to sharpen your range and resilience at our Shotesham practice.
We will start with 5–7 minutes of dynamic mobility (leg swings, hip movements) to raise tissue temperature & lubricate joints. Follow with 30 minutes of targeted sports massage: short effleurage to warm, then cross-fibre friction for adhesions, and some facial release before a final effleurage to flush out those toxins. We finish with PNF contract–relax stretches for major muscle groups to increase range of motion and active drills to reinforce movement patterns. These techniques improve joint range of movement, lower muscle stiffness, and speed between-session recovery so you perform cleaner on race day. Total time with me = 1hr, book the day of your event or up to days before it.
