Don’t ever let age be a barrier to trying something new.

Back in January when i started this crazy Hyrox journey I had no idea where it would go. 11 months in and I love my training, I’ve competed in Birmingaham for the first time, I’ve booked more races in 2026 and I’m ready to go again. I can’t wait.

I’m also spending lunchtimes doing my own timed solo sims… for fun 😂

Be brave. See where it takes you. I found a sport I love, friends that support me and the fittest, healthiest and most competitive version of me I’ve ever met! ###

Spent my school years avoiding P.E. like it was a full-time job…

Now in my 40s and dragging sleds for fun and doing a little victory dance at the end.

Character development or a plot twist… however you look at it teenage me would be shook!

Thanks as always to for the expert coaching and the awesome vibe. Closest I get to a night out 😜

We’re 3 days out from our first Hyrox and fully embracing chaos as a training strategy! It is a VERY good job we are not actually each other’s doubles partners! 😂
