It threads through every avenue I deliver. Strong Mums and every parent and baby class is always about giving you the tools to exercise anywhere, to know your own body, know what feels good and doesn’t, advocate for yourself even if the instructor doesn’t know how to adapt- you do.
My Personal Training is designed to help you make informed choices, know how to select the exercises and weights you want to lift, so if I’m not there, you’ve got this!
My background coaching works to be the missing compassionate piece for you, not to tell you off, because I know you already are, but to give perspective and always show you the choices you have
As a PE teacher this was important to me too, and as a mum.
In a world where we’re told what to do and how to do it, we’re losing touch with our own wants, needs, desires and we’re forgetting how to advocate for them.
In case you need it here’s your permission slip to change the exercise in a class because it suits your body better, to sit down a little longer and rest, to go for a wee because you’re about to per your pants, to shift into child’s pose because honestly you’re knackered!
