Oxbow Manor Care Home Our dedicated team provides high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care.

Oxbow Manor care home provides tailored care in luxurious surroundings, including permanent and short-term residential, nursing and specialist dementia care. The home is divided into suites – collections of bedrooms with a dining room and lounge. Creating smaller communities makes it easier for residents to get to know each other and keeps hustle and bustle to a minimum. The home also has a café, cinema room and a hair and beauty salon, as well as extensive gardens and outdoor spaces. The friendly team runs various group and personalised one-to-one activities. If your loved one wants to continue attending a local church or club, or perhaps they want to go out to enjoy a pub lunch or shopping trip, the team will support them to do so.

It was truly beautiful to see residents coming together at Oxbow and forming their very own singing group 💙

What started as a few voices quickly became a wonderful community, full of smiles, laughter and shared moments.

The most special part was the chain reaction it created especially residents living with dementia began remembering familiar songs, melodies, and even piano notes, with music unlocking memories that words sometimes can’t 🎶

Moments like these remind us just how powerful music is in bringing people together, boosting confidence, and creating joy.

A very special and heart-warming experience for everyone involved!

What an amazing Dementia Disco! 💃🕺

The room was full of dancing, singing, tapping along and huge smiles with residents, families and staff all joining in. It truly felt like one big family, sharing laughter, music and the delicious food lovingly prepared by our fantastic kitchen team.

A massive thank you to our brilliant DJ Craig for keeping the dancefloor busy!
