🎅🏻Our residents were delighted to watch, and be involved with, the children's party today, organised by Jan our manager. They helped judge pass the parcel, musical chairs and statues, pin the nose on the Rudolph and a brilliant game of musical hats! The children loved playing balloons with our residents, and the behaviour from all the children was impeccable. They thoroughly enjoyed seeing Father Christmas (even Sally gave him her Christmas list), and we all enjoyed a drink and homemade cake together finish. Another magical afternoon at Hillcrest ✨🎅🏻

It is with great sadness, that after 8 years working here, our fabulous Jaime is leaving Hillcrest for pastures new. Jaime is a much valued member of staff, who will be greatly missed by staff and residents alike. Jaime, you always had a smile, and time, for everyone, and your love for the residents shone through (and you always joined in with any dressing up!) We wish you the very best of luck in your new venture, and hope you will pop in for a cuppa anytime 🥰

What a wonderful afternoon we have had! We have had the amazing Paul Watkins Christmas sing and dance along, with the festive spirit hitting the roof! Such an emotional, magical and happy atmosphere ✨we also have some very talented staff here!!
One of our lovely ladies was unable to attend the singalong so Paul serenaded her with one of her favourite Elvis songs!✨🎶
We also had our lovely work experience helper here doing some office chores and making a fab Christmas wreath 🎄

🎅🏻Staff and residents were in the Christmas spirit today (again!) -Christmas Jumper day!! We had a lovely chilled afternoon singing to Christmas music, chatting, and making more Christmas wreaths. We have Paul Watkins singing his Christmas set tomorrow so please join in the fun at 2.30pm. Obviously, Christmas attire is suggested 😉If your loved one has a Christmas top, please bring it in for them, also if anyone has any spare they would be willing to donate to the home as extras/spares we would be grateful 🧑🏻‍🎄

✨🔔We were treated to some wonderful Carol singing from Rea Valley Beavers this evening. The residents absolutely loved singing along to the carols, listening to the Beavers read 'Twas the night before Christmas' and chatting to the children afterwards. What a magical sight to see old and young come together. It's what Christmas is all about!! ✨🔔

🎶🔔 What a lovely afternoon we have had at our Carol Service! We had the wonderful Holy Trinity Church choir sing with us, and the amazing children who did Christmas readings for us. For those who were unable to attend, Richard Hall did room visits, and Poppy sang for one of our lovely ladies. Such a lovely, special community and family afternoon. 🎅🏻🎄We were definitely in the Christmas spirit today with the fabulous Tom Byrne performing his Christmas set. It was lovely having all the residents together in Reabrook to listen, sing and clap along to songs old and new. We also had our work experience gentleman along too, who helped write some Christmas gift cards, and finished our Christingle pomanders ready for our Carol service on Sunday🎅🏻🎄

🔔Please join us on Sunday at 2pm for our Christmas Carol Service. We have Holy Trinity Church choir joining us, along with readings from some of our staff's children. Richard Hall, from Minsterley Methodist Church will be carrying out the service, and we will be having tea/coffee and mince pies to follow. We look forward to seeing you there!🔔
