It is with great sadness we announce the death of
VALERIE ANN SMALLWOOD SIDES (nee Clifford)
of Bings Heath, Astley,
Peacefully passed away on the morning of Thursday 16th October 2025, 87 years of age.
Much loved and adored Mum, Grandma, Sister, Mother- in- Law and Auntie.
She leaves behind 4 adult children and 12 Grandchildren who will hold treasured memories of her forever.
Valerie touched the lives of so many through her group of Nursing and Residential Homes across Shropshire. A natural Nurse, always caring for others. She was a successful businesswoman and a Local Conservative Councillor.
She will be missed greatly by her family, friends and everyone who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 12.30pm on Wednesday 19th November at St Chads Church, St Chad’s Terrace, Shrewsbury followed by a committal service at the Crematorium, London Road, Shrewsbury at 2pm. All welcome to both services.

Beloved husband of the late Audrey

Loving Father of Paul, Susan, John and Karen.
Treasured Grandad to Will, Sam, Jamie, Jack, Oscar and Grace.

Passed away peacefully on October 21st 2025, Aged 83 years.

Funeral Service will take place at St George's Church, Pontesbury on Friday 14th November at 3pm.

Much loved Mum, Nan and Nanny Kath, passed away peacefully on October 5th 2025, surrounded by her family, aged 90 years.

Kathleen will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held at
St Tysilio Church, Llandysilio on Monday 27th October at 11am.

Graham passed away peacefully surrounded by his daughters on September 24th 2025, aged 87 years.

A service to celebrate Graham's life will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Minsterley on Friday 10th October at 2pm.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Alan (known to many as 'Al' or 'Hughsey') passed away on 3rd September 2025.

He fought a long illness with such courage and determination.

A beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend, he will be so deeply missed.

Our lives will never be the same again.

The funeral service will be held at Emstrey crematorium Shrewsbury, on Friday 10th October, at 11.30am.

Followed afterwards by a Celebration of Alan's life at Shrewsbury Golf Club.

In Lieu of flowers, all kind donations will support the Respiratory Ward 24 at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.

The family kindly requests that attendees wear respectful attire, with a splash of red.
