🎤 An afternoon with Brit, we went around the world with different music from all countries, we also enjoyed songs from our favourite musicals. Brit is always amazing with connecting with our residents making them feel welcomed and appreciated 🎤

🍺 This afternoon we attended the sing a long Shrewsbury Beaconsfield Club. We enjoyed a nice cold drink and chips in the bar. Some amazing voices today … and of course our Clive he woo’d the audience with his singing with a big round of applause 👏.

🎶 What a fabulous few days we have had. Starting with George the piano man with a duo on the piano with our lovely Les, we also welcomed wenlock for an afternoon of music and dancing. This afternoon we took a trip to Texas. we had a food tasting afternoon with the tastes of Texas .. and what a treat or was food always brings people together 🌮

Today and for this remembrance weekend we are remembering and paying respect to all those who gave everything for our freedom from oppression and tyranny. We can only imagine how our lives would have been if it were not for them. We always pay respect here on Home Front History to service people and civilians alike . But this weekend we especially honour all those who fought for us, under conditions we will never have to face ourselves and cannot truly understand.

🤩A busy few days ahead it’s Kiddleydivey Shropshire, Mid Wales & Wolverhampton - Adults, along with getting in the garden ready for winter, and getting ready for our Remembrance Day celebrations 🤩

🖊️ 📕 This afternoon we did some “train your brain” with some maths and letters. We had a go at how many works can you make… our big hit was 65 words made from the word “Frankenstein”.. what a great game to get our minds working and thinking and then we played with numbers there were definitely some mathematics in the room .
This activity was great for team work but also for a good conversation start to making new friendships 🖊️📕

🥘 🥕 As the winter is coming we now start to make some warm Homemade food. This morning we have got the slow cooker out and got lots of fresh vegetables in for a casserole for tea . It’s the smells that bring back the memories of home made food in the pot🥘 🥦 we can’t wait to have a little try for tea tonight.

🏋️‍♀️ 💐 what a busy day we have had. Starting our Monday morning with James Bickley Running - Personal Training and Keep Fit for the Elderly getting ready for the week ahead. We also welcomed Shrewsbury Flower Club this afternoon who helped create some beautiful flower arrangement. Thank you so much. 💐🏋️‍♀️
