Who looks after you?

A gentle reminder for those of us in complementary practice to take care of our own health and well-being.

It is essential part of our professional role to understand the importance of what we do and why. Today I was reminded of what it feels like to be a client in my own therapy room and I valued every minute of my therapy time.

Thank you Amy from for taking good care of me. I had an Indian head massage and an Eve Taylor Facial. The therapies worked very well together.

I could feel the tension I was holding in upper back and jaw leave my body, I was left feeling totally relaxed ☺️

I have rebooked and I will make space for myself more often. x

I felt stuck.
Couldn’t explain what I did or how I helped people.
When someone asked “what you do for a living” - I froze.

I felt like I had lost my voice.
I didn’t even know my “why” anymore, which stoped me showing up.

Between the delicious breakfast baps, homemade jams and marmalades, coffee, cakes, stalls, and raffle fun Liz and her amazing team raised almost £1,500 for our care in just three hours.

💫Join us for a morning of Crystal Sound Bath & herbal tea, at the salon, with Liv from Lunar Holistics.

A crystal bowl sound bath is a deeply relaxing and meditative experience where participants are bathed in the healing vibrations of quartz crystal singing bowls. The soothing frequencies help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and guide the body and mind into a state of deep rest and restoration — similar to a meditative state, but without any effort required from the participant.
