If you’re already feeling that December wobble — the lists, the pressure, the “I swear I’ve already bought that gift?” brain fog — you’re definitely not alone.

Midlife + Christmas is A LOT.

Your sleep gets lighter.
Your cravings get louder.
Your stress threshold shrinks.
And somehow you’re still expected to make the whole month magical.

It’s no wonder so many women feel festive on the outside… and one task away from a meltdown on the inside.

But here’s the good news:
You don’t have to crawl into January exhausted, fed-up and running on fumes.
There are simple, realistic ways to get through December feeling calmer and more in control.

And that’s exactly what I’m covering next Thursday in Don’t Crash at Christmas.

Here’s a little taster of what we’ll talk about:

✨ The thing that always throws your energy, mood and cravings off course
✨ The small daily habits that stop you tipping into meltdown territory
✨ Tiny resets that help you feel less frantic and more grounded
✨ How to arrive at parties feeling steady instead of starving
✨ Simple tweaks that make alcohol + late nights far less brutal
✨ How to walk into January feeling like you, not a worn-out version of yourself

No restriction.
No guilt.
Just practical support for women who want to enjoy Christmas without burning out.

If you’re a badass babe who’s ready to sail through the festivities without losing your mind, your energy, or your snack drawer… this one’s for you.

Because let’s be honest:
midlife Christmas hits with some serious Ho Ho Holy F*ck energy.

The late nights hit harder.
The cravings get louder.
Your patience? Delicate.
Your to-do list? Multiplying by the hour.

But you’re not “losing your edge”.
Your body just needs a different kind of support now — and when you give it that support?
You feel steadier, calmer, more you.

Next week I’m sharing how to get through December without crawling into January on fumes —
simple shifts that make everything feel lighter:

✨ steadier energy
✨ calmer cravings
✨ fewer overwhelm spin-outs
✨ more bandwidth for actual joy

This is exactly what we’ll cover in:

There was a Christmas where I completely came undone.
Not because anything awful happened,
but because I was trying to be everything for everyone…
while quietly running on fumes.

I kept telling myself, “It’s Christmas, it’s fine.”
But it wasn’t fine.
I was exhausted, overwhelmed and one tiny task away from tears.

And honestly?
I thought it was just me.
I thought I wasn’t coping, or wasn’t organised enough,
or wasn’t “strong” enough.

But the truth was simpler:
I was asking my midlife body to get through December
the same way I did at 25,
except that just doesn’t work anymore.

Once I changed how I supported myself,
with better fuelling, tiny resets, boundaries that actually meant something..
everything felt lighter.

Not perfect.
But lighter, steadier, and much more human.

That’s what I’m sharing in Don’t Crash at Christmas,
the things that genuinely make this season feel easier
for women who are DONE feeling frazzled.

If your cravings usually go wild in December, please know this:
you’re not “failing” — your body is overwhelmed.

Midlife + December is a perfect storm of:
💥 skipped meals
💥 stress
💥 late nights
💥 fizzy drinks
💥 dehydration
💥 emotional labour
💥 and way too much on your (emotional) plate

Your body isn’t trying to sabotage you — it’s trying to keep up.

And with a few simple tweaks, you can calm the chaos fast.
That’s exactly what I’ll be sharing in:

Let’s make this the year you enjoy December
without losing yourself to the biscuit tin.

26/11/2025

If Christmas hits you differently these days… you’re definitely not imagining it.

Once we hit midlife, December starts to feel like a full-body endurance test.
The tiredness creeps in.
The cravings ramp up.
The irritability rises.
Sleep becomes… optional.
And one glass of fizz takes you out like you’ve been on the tiles all weekend.

Nothing is “wrong” with you — your body has changed, but Christmas hasn’t caught up.

The good news is: there are simple ways to make December feel easier.
You can avoid the crashes.
You can calm the cravings.
And you absolutely can stop yourself sliding into January with an empty tank and zero motivation.

That’s exactly what we’ll be covering in:

Our theme for November in the hub is the physical symptoms of menopause. We have been discussing aching joints & muscles and the role of magnesium, cardiac issues and the connection between a healthy body & a healthy mind.

Membership includes a closed page where research based information, motivational messsges and discussions are posted. Members can ask questions, read information and feel a sense of online connection. There is also access here to videos of our monthly expert talks, so members can catch up on any they missed or watch again if they wish.

We had our first in person event on Wednesday evening last week, which was a huge success. Linda Van Doorn, Pelvic Health Physiotherapist came to talk to us about pelvic health in menopause. She explained what was normal, when and how to seek further help if needed and lots of self help tips too. It was fascinating and we all left with a plan of small changes which will make a huge difference.

In addition to the knowledge we gained, the sense of being together and supporting one another is a big part of our in person meetings. And Wednesday was no exception, the atmosphere was fantastic, with everyone joining in the discussions and sharing their thoughts and experiences and of course there was laughter - Linda had props!!!!
We provide warm drinks and nibbles, along with a supportive, non judgmental approach.
