Whether you’ve worked in care before or are completely new to it, if you’ve got a caring nature, we’ll give you all the training and support you need to make a real difference every day.

We offer flexible hours, paid travel time and mileage, ongoing training, and a genuinely supportive team that values what you do.

Today is World Stroke Awareness Day!

Stroke can happen to anyone, at any age – but knowing the signs can save lives. Remember FAST:

F – Face drooping
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech difficulty
T – Time to call 999

At Visiting Angels North Shropshire, we care for our community every day, supporting clients and families affected by strokes. Early recognition and support make a huge difference.

🕰️ Did anyone else forget the clocks changed yesterday?
We’re officially into shorter days and longer nights — perfect for cosy cups of tea, warm jumpers, and making sure our clients feel extra supported as the seasons shift.
Our Angels are out and about, bringing care and comfort whatever the weather (and whatever the time says!).

🐾 It’s Global Cat Day! 🐾

Here’s a little peek at one of our newest candidates trying to complete her training workbook… with a very dedicated supervisor on her lap! 😸

Pets play such an important role in our lives — they bring comfort, laughter, and companionship not just to the people we care for, but to the carers themselves. Whether it’s a cat purring nearby after a long shift or a dog greeting you at the door, they have a wonderful way of reminding us to slow down and smile.
