✨🎄 A Heartwarming Visit from St Olaves Children 🎄✨
Today our care home was filled with festive cheer as the wonderful children from St Olave’s came to sing Christmas carols for our residents.
Not only did they sing, but the children also spent time making Christmas stockings and decorations, which our residents adored. These thoughtful handmade creations will brighten our home throughout the season and remind us of their kindness.
Our residents were delighted to join in with the singing and watch the crafts come to life — the atmosphere was nothing short of magical. Moments like these remind us how special it is when generations come together to celebrate.
A huge thank you to the children, their teachers, and families for sharing this gift of music, creativity, and joy with us. 💖

✨Today we welcomed the festive season with our annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, made even more special by a beautiful church service led by Elizabeth from St John’s Church. Her words brought warmth, reflection, and a lovely sense of togetherness to our home.
We were especially delighted that our wonderful resident Eileen had the honour of switching on the Christmas lights. With one joyful press of the button, the room filled with sparkle, smiles, and that unmistakable Christmas magic.

🎉 Guinness World Records Fun Day! 🏅
What a blast! Our incredible residents and staff came together for a day of laughter, teamwork, and record-breaking excitement as we tried our hand at some official Guinness World Records challenges! 💪🌍
From speedy sock sorting to balloon popping races, we gave it our all—and had a ton of fun doing it. Whether we broke records or just broke into fits of giggles, the spirit of adventure and community was the real win.
Who knows… maybe next year we’ll be in the book! 📖✨
