For the past 14 months, I’ve faced a relentless campaign of malicious attacks against myself/business, I have been unable to defend myself due to patient confidentiality laws.

Attacks include:

- Public accusations of causing burns and scars using the Morpheus 8.
- Numerous 1-star reviews on platforms like Trustpilot and Google, from various people unknown to us
- Multiple posts containing misinformation, lies, and inaccuracies about myself, my practice, and my staff.
- Tagging local businesses in malicious FB/Instagram posts & WhatsApp groups to ensure maximum exposure, then blocking admins to prevent removal.
- 70+ shared these posts, which have garnered hundreds of views, damaging, hurtful comments and abuse
-As a result, I have received direct abuse via DM. I have been contacted by not only patients with concerns, but have been informed of fellow business owners gossiping and sharing these allegations
- False claims that I refused to see the individual despite alleged injuries.
- False claims of refusal to provide a refund
- False claims of involvement in a personal injury claim; there are NO NEGLIGENCE claims against me.
-Claims I am a therapist, not a Nurse
-Complaints to my local gym (David Lloyd, because I was filming content)
- Scaremongering, directly contacting my patient via IG
-Direct messaging/adding STAFF members via IG
- Vandalism of my car, including keying and stabbing my tyre outside my clinic
- Complaints were filed with regulatory bodies such as Save Face & ICO
- FITNESS TO PRACTICE was raised with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Today I am delighted to share the outcome

🔹Allegations of burns and scars were investigated by an independent internal clinical adviser - NO FURTHER ACTION.

🔹Claims of misconduct - NO FURTHER ACTION

🔹ALL CLAIMS AGAINST ME - NO FURTHER ACTION.

To say this has been soul destroying, is an understatement - it has changed me as a person and clinician. I would like to thank those that stood by me and reassured me, when I felt as though my world was crushing in around me. Medics I urge to document like your life depends on it, because one day it might. Thankfully I document EVERYTHING

No filters 🚫

Here I am. No filters. No editing. Looking much fresher than I have the last week. I was trying to take a picture of my blowdry for Courtney whilst walking up a hill 🤣

And I realised it was perfect content for the type of content I want to start posting. I want to start as I mean to go on. Posting real, unfiltered, unedited and unapologetic.

For the sake of human kind; men, women, children, teenagers and especially our daughters.

I have been reflecting a lot the last few weeks; how can I talk try to educate my patients and followers around healthy expectations and mindsets in relation to aesthetic treatments whilst using filters myself? They are not normal, do not look normal and promote unhealthy behaviours and have a negative affect on body image & mental health. And so you will no longer see filters used on this page. And I know .injctskinclinic will love me for that 😂😇

Surgery Day is almost here!

Friday 21st oct, I will be having implant exchange and Mastopexy with reconstruction due to botched surgery 9 years ago - due to a negligent surgeon.

I have been mentally preparing for this day for the last few weeks, and the reality is really starting to hit me. The excitement that I will finally be free of these humungous implants, the fact I will be able to wear low tops without people staring, and get bras to fit me is incredibly overwhelming, because for so long I have hid myself away.

But then, I’m so nervous because the last time I could have died. The mixture of feelings is something I cannot really describe, but I wanted to share my story, incase it helps someone else out there.

It’s taken me 9 years to find a surgeon that I not only trust, but one that I actually feel understood what I went through when I was 29. Not only did he show compassion, but he showed me that he actually cared and wanted to help me - not just take my money and throw another set of big implants on my tiny frame. He has shown me that there was a way out of this and I can finally put the past behind me. He is one of the most skilled surgeons in the country and trust him implicitly.

To be in the hands of a negligent surgeon - or under the knife of a negligent surgeon, is something that I would never wish on anyone. The physical scars can be seen; the mental scars are hidden, but they are there.

But if I could take away what I went through, I would not.

Because, without that experience, I don’t think I would have become a nurse. I also don’t believe I would have the compassion and understanding for those who experience trauma, anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks/disorder - or any mental health concerns.

I would not change a thing.

It’s made me a better nurse - and it’s made me realise that life is short and that we must go for every dream we dream and treatment that we desire (wink 🫢) the last one was a joke - kinda.

I will try to document my journey. Keep an eye on the stories and Il see you all in a few weeks.

Lovely to meet the team finally!

We have lots of new exciting treatments coming for nov/dec such as PRP & Cryotherapy!

The first time I attended CCR was 2018 and I was a student nurse. I had NO clue what I was looking at or looking for. Since then, I have been again last year, and the difference a year can make - last year I was looking at purchasing the - but I had no idea I would now have the HydraFacial & MORPHEUS8!
