My name is Lynsey, and I’m a mummy to two handsome boys – and an Independent Nurse Prescriber.

I’m 42, and I didn’t start my career until I was 30. I still remember being laughed at for going back to college. At the time, I was a single mum. My eldest is now 18, and my youngest is 4.

My passion is full-face Botox. It’s a far more powerful and versatile treatment than many people realise, and in 2026 my goal is to start showcasing more of my work.

I’ve always struggled with imposter syndrome — but this year, I overcame it. Going through one of the most challenging periods of my life last year changed me. It made me stronger and opened my mind in ways I’ll always be grateful for. At the time, I wished it could be taken away… now, I wouldn’t erase it.

The point of this post is to de-influence you.

So many people are guided by trends in this industry.

Ten years of education and hands-on experience can’t be proven on social media. It’s proven in practice — in the faces and hearts of those I treat. It’s built through years of consistent, results-driven care, through loyal patients who return time and time again, and through quiet word-of-mouth referrals to friends and family. It’s caring for entire families, because they feel safe in my hands.

Please take time to look into your practitioner’s training and education. Don’t choose someone just because their social media looks good.

Good practitioners are busy and some of us don’t want to be all over social media to prove we are worthy. 🙂

The days are long but the years are short..

37 V 42 and my skin has never been better..

But it wasn’t always like that..

I used sunbeds since 18..

Never used SPF or Skin Care..

I wasn’t brought up to look after my skin..

Mums would have a sunbed at home..

Ergo line beds were my fave age 17..

A healthy glow’ ..

That’s what they called it. .

Until you’re 37 and it catches up with you..

If you are my age, I know you know.. 🫠

My advice for anyone ..

Start asap.. you’re not too young and you’re certainly not too old.. but programs do differ depending on age and health of skin of course.

Botox Truths, no one wants to hear..

Botox restricts muscle movement - it does not always get rid of deep set lines.

Because deep set lines are caused by more than years of muscle movement - for example; collagen loss, elastin degradation, decreased hyaluronic acid, fat redistribution - yes repetitive facial movement plays a part..

But botox isn’t always the only way to help - to ensure optimal results, skin should always be treated prior - if not during Botox treatments.

Healthy skin first, injectables second.

✔️We are also fully booked for 2025- so marketing has understandably taken a back seat.

💡 But hopefully this will be changing very soon and we may just be able to open the diary again! 🤭

‼️ With that said, we also want to express our gratitude to the patients who choose us because you trust us, because you see results, because you feel safe and welcome, and because you value our individual specialties—not simply because of location or “cheap” deals. It truly means the world to each of us that you choose us for more than just price or convenience.

Personally, I’ve travelled to London for years to see my own doctor—and I would travel even further because I know exactly what I’m getting with him. I know he delivers every time. You get one face - and if you mess it up, it can cost a lot more to fix - if you can fix it at all!
