Sundial Care Home, based in Tipton St John, Devon recently enjoyed a day out in the community with a visit to Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary.

For many of us, kitchens are the heart of the home. They’re where conversations happen, where the kettle is always on, where routines shape the day.

Throughout our home, our kitchenette spaces give family members the opportunity to make a cup of tea or coffee when they choose, to wash up their own mug if they’d like to, or simply potter in familiar spaces that bring independance and the feeling of being in your own kitchen again.

Purpose doesn’t always come from big activities, sometimes it’s found in the everyday moments that feel like home. 🏡

Birthdays, a day to celebrate a special someone. 🎂

As time can often feel like its speeding up each year, we can find ourselves saying "𝑖𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑒𝑎𝑟 𝑎𝑙𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦?", birthdays give us a reason to pause and create moments that bring everyone together.

With plenty of cake to go around, we're incredibly lucky to celebrate so many birthdays each month.

What a day!🎄Our Christmas Mingle was full of festive cheer from start to finish, with delicious food, great music, a bit of bubbly, and even better company. Zara King gave us a wonderful performance, smiles all round thanks to Gus from Tiny Hooves Therapy Ponies Devon, and we even had a visit from Father Christmas... (Matthew our Maintenance Man!)

We always enjoy welcoming loved ones, both familiar and new faces, into our home and sharing these special occasions together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so memorable. 🥂
