🏅🎉 This last weekend I ran the Bath Half Marathon! The lead up to it was far from perfect due to injury, but sticking to a rehab plan and altering my goals helped me achieve a time of 1hr 26mins.
Setting goals and working towards them is key, but it's just as important to be adaptable when obstacles come your way – whether it's an injury, unexpected pain, or even a change in plans. 🛑🏃♀️
I faced challenges during training, but stayed committed to adjusting my approach, listening to my body, and finding balance. 🧘♂️ This is the same mindset I use when helping patients through their injury recovery process.
Whether it’s a sprain, strain, or chronic pain, remember: it’s not about perfection, it’s about progress. Embrace the journey, stay focused on your goal, but allow yourself the flexibility to adapt and heal along the way.
