It has been a wonderful few days of creativity and music here at Springbank Care Home! ✨

We kicked things off on Tuesday afternoon with our lovely crocheting club. It was a pleasure to have Wendy with us, and our residents thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon working on their latest projects. 🧶

The creative spirit continued into Wednesday morning with a "craft and chat" session, providing a great chance for everyone to catch up while being artistic. In the afternoon, the atmosphere turned a bit more competitive as we hosted a quiz and a lively game of "Play Your Cards Right"! 🃏💡

Yesterday was another bustling day for us. The lovely Lisa was back in the salon working her magic all morning, leaving everyone feeling pampered and looking their best. We then rounded off the day with Jackie for a fantastic singing session, which brought so much fun and energy to the home. 🎤💇‍♀️

The sun has been shining at Springbank Care Home, and we have certainly been making the most of it! ☀️

Last Friday was a day full of variety and laughter. We kickstarted the morning with a "Music for Health" session led by Richard, which always gets everyone in high spirits. In the afternoon, we settled in for some classic comedy with Benny Hill while getting creative and making our very own red noses. It was a wonderful way to combine a good giggle with a bit of crafting! 🔴🎶

The weekend got off to a fantastic start on Saturday morning over in Bluebell, where everyone joined in for some refreshing chair exercises. It was the perfect way to feel energized before heading outside to enjoy the beautiful sunshine in the garden. There is nothing quite like a bit of fresh air and Vitamin D to lift the mood. 🌿🏃‍♂️

To start the new week, we had a brilliant Monday morning putting our thinking caps on for a quiz hosted by Steve Starkie. It’s always a highlight seeing everyone’s competitive spirits come out! After all that hard work, we spent the afternoon relaxing with some well-deserved pamper sessions, making for a very peaceful and pleasant end to the day. 💅🧠

We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting Keighley’s bid to become the Town of Culture in 2028! 🎭✨

Earlier today, Lisa, April, and Peter headed over to the Keighley Civic Centre for an inspiring meeting to discuss the exciting plans ahead. It was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and ensure that the voices of our older community members are truly represented throughout this cultural journey 🤝

We loved hearing such a variety of creative ideas and were proud to share insights from our recent 'Through Our Eyes' project, which touched so many. Seeing how much impact our residents' stories have had is a testament to why local culture matters so much 📸❤️

A huge thank you to the Town Mayor and his team for such a warm welcome at the Civic Centre this morning. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Keighley! 🏛️🌟

It has been a wonderful few days of fresh air and pampering at Springbank Care Home! ☀️

On Wednesday, we enjoyed a fantastic morning trip to Billy Bob’s, soaking up the nostalgic American diner atmosphere with some lovely hot drinks. ☕️ the fun continued into the afternoon at the riverside cafe, where we topped off a scenic walk along the river with delicious ice creams and more warm treats! 🍦🌊

Our Garden Club was also busy in the sunshine, making the most of the bright weather to get our pots looking absolutely amazing. 🪴✨

Yesterday was all about feeling our best with a visit from the hairdresser and some relaxing nail pampering sessions. 💅 Looking and feeling fabulous, our Gardening Club headed out once more to enjoy the glorious afternoon glow! 🌸☀️

Yesterday was a truly wonderful day here at Springbank Care Home, packed with treats and plenty of fun! ☕️

We started things off with a lovely coffee morning, enjoying some of the best teas and cakes while catching up with friends. There is nothing quite like a warm brew and good company to get the day off to a perfect start. 🍰

The excitement continued into the afternoon as Lorraine hosted a fantastic session of card bingo. It was brilliant to see everyone getting involved and enjoying a bit of friendly competition together! 🃏

It was a joy to see such a vibrant atmosphere throughout the home all day long. ✨
