Weekend Work Mode: ON 🔧

While most are enjoying a well-earned rest, the team at Mid Kent Mezzanine are back on site this weekend in Chatham delivering another quality installation for our customer.

We’re currently installing a bespoke mezzanine floor complete with full fire protection, along with a small amount of partitioning works to help maximise the client’s space and functionality.

As always, everything is being handled in-house from design through to installation, ensuring the high standards and smooth delivery our customers expect from MKM.

Southwark ✔️ Steelwork Complete

Another structure wrapped up this week in Southwark – the main mezzanine floor framework is now fully installed, levelled, and ready for the next phase.

This one was all about getting the primary and secondary steel in efficiently, working within a tight footprint and keeping disruption to a minimum. The floor is now structurally complete and ready for follow-on works.

We’ll be returning in a few weeks to:
🔸 Install the staircase
🔸 Fit full fire protection to achieve the required rating
🔸 Finalise handrails and finishing details

As always, everything designed, fabricated and installed in-house – direct from the manufacturer, fully compliant and built to last.

Great progress on our latest installation in Tonbridge this week 👊

The mezzanine structure is now fully in, and the office partitioning on the top level is coming together nicely, really transforming the space from an empty warehouse into a practical, usable working environment.

We’re into the final stages now with:
✅ Deck complete
✅ Staircase installed
✅ Partitions formed
✅ Finishing touches underway

Everything is on track and nearing completion ready for handover to the customer very soon.

Always proud to see these projects take shape — from a bare slab to a fully functional mezzanine with offices in just a short timeframe. Big credit to the team for keeping it tidy, safe and on schedule as always 💪

Another solid milestone reached in Tonbridge 💪
The mezzanine floor is now fully installed and complete, creating valuable new usable space and setting the stage for the next phase.

Next up, we’ll be returning to carry out the fire protection works, followed by the office partitioning, transforming the area into a practical, compliant, and professional workspace from top to bottom.

Designed, manufactured, and installed by our in-house team — keeping quality, safety, and efficiency front and centre as always.

We’ve kicked off a new mezzanine floor installation in Tonbridge today 💪
Main steelwork is underway, with staircase, fire protection, and new office spaces all to follow over the next stages.

Another bespoke solution designed to maximise height, space, and functionality — built strong and built to last.

Another one ticked off ✅

Today we finished the Ashford mezzanine, completing the decking along with the staircase and handrails to deliver a safe, solid, and fully usable new level of space.

A great turnaround from start to finish and another bespoke mezzanine ready to help our client maximise their unit without the need to move premises.

Small Storage Mezzanine – Day One in Ashford 🔧🏗️

We’ve made a great start today on this small storage mezzanine in Ashford, with the main steel structure now going up nicely. A compact but effective way to create extra storage without losing valuable floor space.

Tomorrow we’ll be back on site to deck the floor and install the staircase and handrail, finishing off a safe, practical, and tidy storage solution for the client.
