For a healthy January, we all would like to focus on a more balanced diet and to try and introduce more fruit and veg into our life.
At Brogdale CIC as part of our ongoing commitment to the local community we are now able to offer a veg box scheme for fresh-out-the-ground veggies. The boxes typically contain a selection of 5-7 different types of seasonal and locally sourced vegetables.
They are available to order on a one-off or regular basis and at present can be collected from our farm in Smeeth, Ashford or from our offices at Brogdale Farm in Faversham. For more details please visit our site https://www.naturesbasketshop.co.uk/ and from all of us we wish you a happy and healthy New Year!

Established on 8th March 2010, Brogdale Community Interest Company (BCIC) initially started to develop leisure and work related opportunities for disabled children and young people within a mainstream community environment at Brogdale Farm, Faversham.
Core to the development of BCIC is the intention that it will be the children, young people and their families who will identify and prioritise the activities to be undertaken so that it fits within the local community’s needs.
As a result of parent and young people feedback we have now expanded our activities across all of Swale, Ashford, Canterbury and Dover and surrounding areas. The vision of Brogdale CIC is to enable disabled and disadvantaged young people and adults to take part in a range of leisure and work opportunities.
We support young people from youth work through to college courses and employment. We are one of a kind!
In 2017 Brogdale CIC became part of Swale Youth Consortia, a group of organisations working together to provide opportunities for the youth of Swale to flourish. BCIC manages the day to day running of this and also provides youth activities, schools work, qualifications and events for all young people.
In 2019 we are a DfE post-16 Specialist Provider College, a youth provision, a social enterprise innovator (with a Café and a gardening service), an alternative learning provider for local schools and a working farm! Yet the core vision and heart has not changed - we work with the community, for the community, helping all people to grow their potential!
