🌟 Take control of your care with Direct Payments! 🌟

Did you know you can choose how your care and support is arranged through Direct Payments?

If your financial assessment shows that you’re eligible for help with care costs, you can receive the money directly from us. This means you can arrange, manage, and pay for your own care — giving you more freedom, flexibility, and control over how and when your support is provided. 💪

💰 Example:
• Your weekly care costs: £60
• You contribute: £40 (based on your financial assessment)
• We contribute: £20
➡️ We’ll pay the £20 directly to you, and you’ll use your combined funds to pay for your care.

The easiest way to receive your Direct Payment is with a Kent Card – a prepaid card that works just like a debit card. You can use it to pay your care providers online or by phone, and we can see your payments automatically (no need to send in statements!).
