Pregnancy After loss π
Often referred to as a rainbow pregnancy, referring to a baby following a miscarriage, ectopic or molar pregnancy, TFMR, stillbirth, or infant loss, and represents hope, joy and light after a storm. π
However we understand even considering a pregnancy again is difficult and for some this journey may not be the right one at the moment. π€
And the rainbow journey is often a difficult journey in many ways.
π€ Worries around health following a loss. Healing physically.
π€ Difficulty conceiving, fertility concerns.
π€ Recurrent miscarriage
π€ Stress and worry that it will happen again. Mixed emotions of joy, guilt and fear.
π€ Mental health
With published research today from The miscarriage Association (link in comments) revealing sadly a quarter of women report they lacked care following their loss, we need change and to break the stigma around loss.
We understand this month may be a difficult month for many, particularly with Motherβs Day approaching.
