This season feels like the right moment to pause, breathe and reset. After showing up consistently for over a year and a half, my body and spirit are asking for a little recalibration. So for Lent, I’m stepping back from social media to reconnect with how I want my life and business to flow.

It’s not about touching your toes.
It’s not about fancy poses.
It’s not even about “being good at yoga”.

🥔✨ Meet Billy: The Positive Potato ✨🥔

One of the children in one of my schools absolutely loves crochet — a mindful little hobby that’s still on my “one day I’ll learn this” list.

But last session, she walked in with this dude.
His name? Billy.
Billy is a positive potato.
And honestly… he made my whole day.

Because sometimes the world feels like it’s on fire.
We’re rushing around like headless chickens trying to put out every flame, solve every problem, carry every load.

But then a small, crocheted potato appears — and suddenly everything softens.
Billy reminded me to be more potato.
To give myself permission to sink into the quiet, dark, nourishing soil for a while.
To remember that growth doesn’t have to be loud or impressive.
That joy can be found in the simplest things — sitting alongside our fellow potatoes, marvelling at the tiny miracles of just being.

And those fires?
Well… I do love a jacket potato.
Here’s to slowing down.
Here’s to soft joy.
Here’s to the Billys of the world — and the children who bring them in with pride.
