HYROX Youngstars – Week 1 Recap 💥

We’ve had a brilliant first week with the boys and girls getting fully up to speed on what a HYROX fitness race is all about — and, just as importantly, how to use the equipment safely and correctly.

Day 1 🏁
A full HYROX event breakdown, giving everyone plenty of hands-on time with the movements and stations.
We wrapped things up with a fun interval-style workout to put learning into action.

Day 2 ⚡
A quick recap, then straight into an aerobic engine builder session.
After lunch, we focused on strength training, teaching the fundamentals of proper weight training technique.

Day 3 🔥
A full HYROX simulation — bringing everything together and putting it into practice exactly how they would in an official event.

Week 2 due to start on Monday 29th with a few places left

🚀 The habits your child builds today shape who they become tomorrow 🚀

Designed for girls and boys aged 11-15 who are ready to run, lift, jump, and race—just like the adults

HYROX YOUNGSTARS combines the classic endurance sport of running with strength and coordination exercises from functional training. The sequence of the exercises is predetermined and always remains the same: running, followed by an exercise station. HYROX Youngstars replicates the adult race but with adaptations based on the age and stage of maturation for the different age groups.

We teach the movement standards, refine technique, and then put it into practice with a challenging yet rewarding training programme that combines both strength and cardio fitness.

Launching Friday 9th January, we have limited spaces available.

We had an amazing first cycle — hitting all the major compound lifts and strategically varying rep ranges to ensure real progressive overload.
Each movement pattern and muscle group is trained multiple times per week, giving you the maximum opportunity for muscle stimulus and growth.

The next 3-week phase is focused on classic 5 × 5 training, building strength through heavier loads and high-quality sets.

Final phase of the strength programme, Testing each lift to a 1RM, starting with deadlifts

Once the 12 week cycle is done we will have a week off the programme sticking to a lot of conditioning work before restarting the 12 weeks again.

As always quality over quantity

Sticking to a structured plan is far more likely to produce results than just winging it every time or attending a class that doesn’t really have a plan.

I have room for about 10 more group training clients if anyone Is serious about making progress in there fitness journey 🫡
