We celebrated a very special birthday yesterday! 🎉🌿

One of our wonderful clients turned 88 yesterday, and to mark the occasion our Care Manager, Debbie, surprised her with a beautiful little plant as a birthday gift. A small gesture to celebrate a very special lady and brighten her day.

Moments like these are what care is all about — kindness, connection, and making someone feel valued on their special day. 💛

We were back for **Day 2 of the Annual Wellbeing Show at Slough & Langley College**! ✨

It was fantastic having so many meaningful conversations with students and staff from a wide range of courses — especially those studying **Health & Social Care**. We loved sharing ideas on how we can help inspire the next generation and support the college in the process. 🤝

It was also lovely connecting with the other exhibitors — thank you for having us! 👏

We were delighted to be part of the annual Health & Wellbeing Fair at BCA! 💙

It was wonderful meeting so many inspiring young people from a variety of courses who showed genuine interest in the work we do. Some even shared that they volunteer at dementia cafés — which was amazing to hear! 👏

We wish them all the very best in their future endeavours ✨🙏
And a huge appreciation for the beautiful college campus too — it certainly helped draw students in and made the day even more special! 👌

✨ *“Everything happens for a reason.”* ✨

This morning Ritisha arrived a little early to the International Women’s Day brunch at Farley Gardens Care Home… and it turned out to be perfect timing. While waiting, she spotted the lovely Maggie dancing away to some tunes with Lucy the carer — so of course she joined the 10am dance session! 💃

Moments like this remind us how special community really is. After brunch, it was beautiful to see her quote being shared too. 💪🏽

A huge thank you to Jo Anderson and the wonderful team at Farley Gardens for inviting so many incredible women together — women who are truly making a difference in the community. Your kind words meant a lot. And thank you to Jo Merrit for such an inspirational talk.

Magda shared her highlight of the day… maybe even the week!

An elderly gentleman approached her and said, *“Excuse me darling, can I bother you?”*
“Of course, how can I help you?” she replied.

He then asked, *“Are you an actress by any chance?”*
Magda laughed and said, *“Me? An actress? I’m afraid not — why?”*

And he responded, *“Well, I just had to tell you… your outfit today looks absolutely superb. Very moviestar-like!”* ✨

Such a simple moment, but it meant the world to Magda. A kind stranger, a thoughtful compliment, and a reminder that small acts of kindness can brighten someone’s whole week. 🫂

Ritisha attended the NHS Q&A at Chalfont Community Centre 🏢 where the Social Prescribing Team, Buckinghamshire Community Wellbeing Hub, South Bucks Integrated Neighbourhood Team and Age Concern Gerrards Cross Plus 🤝 came together to present their services to the local community 📊.

They also introduced the nationwide platform Joy 👏 — an amazing tool designed to help tackle loneliness through meaningful community connections and collaboration.💼✨
