We were so pleased to lend our support for the Thames Hospice at the launch of their campaign this week.

Joined by Baroness May as Ambassador, Mrs May launched their "Trunks Across the Thames" fund-raising campaign at a packed reception. This art trail will see businesses, schools, ,community groups and artists unite to create a free, fun, family-friendly trail of discovery for the local community to explore across Windsor and Slough throughout 2026.

Vaisakhi 2023: Newman’s lends its support again this year as thousands gather in Slough to celebrate Sikh festival.

Vaisakhi marks a significant date in the Sikh calendar, and we were pleased that Newman’s could offer its property and services this year, to support the local community.

On behalf of the Newman family it was our pleasure to deliver just one of our annual charity donations to this wonderful local charity the "Slough Food Bank". It was heart warming to see all the hard work undertaken by volunteers supporting the local community.

Following this weeks Government announcement on the latest Covid protection measures, we just wanted to clarify guidance for our valued customers.

As we continue to deliver an uninturepted service, our primary focus continues to be the wellbeing of our customers and staff alike. Therefore we kindly ask visitors to "Wear a Face Mask" at all times.

We would also ask where possible for appointments to be made in advance before coming into the office. We do understand however it is not always possible to prearrange things, so we will do our best to accommodate where we can.

We are of course always available on the phone to answer any questions you may have, and rest assured we continue to be open for business as usual.

COVID working update: Following the recent Government announcement that contact-isolation regulations will continue until mid-August, coupled with the increasing number of local infections, we have made the decision to continue with our current contact restrictions. Please call the office for details on our current restrictions or indeed if we can be of any service with advice on 01753 524286.

We hope you will understand, as a small independent team, if we lose a number of staff members to isolation, it severely affects the service we can provide to the local community. By delaying relaxation of Covid restrictions, we can ensure we are doing our best to keep both our team and customers as safe as possible, whilst ensuring we continue to provide key services to the Slough community.
