*The best form of healing for your body - allowing the body to heal itself!*
I've recently realised the joys of 'fasting like a girl' thanks to this wonderful book. Prior to this I was fasting pretty much off my own back and without a clue! I failed alot, but it was all part of the learning process and led me to the discovery of fasting according to my hormones. Simply put it is a revelation. Every woman should have access to this information.
Things I've learnt fasting:
° Never, never order food when fasting (I ordered way too much!)
° Listen to your body, it may be wise to end the fast sooner then planned. (This is not failure, this is learning)
° Feeling exhausted? Add 1/4tsp salt to water.
° Is that a fart? Probably not! Get to that loo pronto! 🤣
° Starting after breakfast is easier then starting after dinner (well it is for me)
° Use this time to batch cook instead of dreaming about food be productive and prepare the nutritious meals you will consume after your fast.
° Most of all have faith in the process, we all fast for different reasons and someone here will be able to relate to your experience and maybe lend a helping hand when the going gets tough! 😊
