”Thank you, dear Amrita Baba, for your time and priceless teachings on this weekend’s January Retreat. It was valuable to hear your words about ethics and its importance on the path of Dharma. Like you said, honesty and sincerity reveals our buddha nature, where as openness and availability is compassion. When we get these basic principles right, we are aligned with our true nature.
On Sunday afternoon, we heard beautiful testimonials from Kripa and Sangita of finishing their purification process of the samsaric energy bodies. They both explained with their own words, how they have felt after causal and astral body cessation, which is called nonmeditation stage in Mahamudra tradition. This valuable recorded discussion is already on Amrita Mandala YouTube channel with the title: ”Spiritual and Psychological Perfection | Two Fully Enlightened Women Discuss Enlightenment”.
Baba’s long retreat talk about Vipashyana clarified the difference between sutric and ta***ic insight practice. In Amrita Mandala, a method called The Two-Part Formula is used as a sutric technique to generate awakening. This means that one cuts through the notion of I, by investigating directly the subject-self. Selfing causes unnaturalness, which is stored in the subtle causal energy body. Baba emphasized, that it is important to master embodied sitting, so that one can sit still and investigate these subtle energies, that originate from selfing.
Like Baba has said: May the body of light of all beings be revealed; may the body of light of all beings be attained! Thank you once more, dear Baba, for your excellent guidance and teachings on this January Retreat. Thank you dear Masters, Padmasambhava, Yeshe Ma and Bodhidharma for your blessings! Warm thanks also to all online participants!
The next Amrita Mandala Retreat is held on 27.2.-1.3.2026. Welcome all! See you there!”
