Just wanted to say a big Thank you to The Dorothy Parkes Centre for opening the centre today, just for my Slimming World members. I know my members really appreciate the consistency of being able to attend group 52 weeks a year. Lots of people braved the scales today and have left with a plan of action for the week ahead. Plus they've got their hands on the brand new Slimming World book; packed with all they need to make those healthy lifestyle changes and smash their 2026 goals. Thanks again and Happy New Year

I pride myself at ensuring my Slimming World group is open 52 weeks a year. There's no group on Christmas eve or New Years eve; we're open on Tuesdays instead. Back to normal Wednesday from 8th January.

Did you know Slimming World has a unique activity programme? Choose any activity you enjoy. Start small and work your way up so it becomes a healthy habit. Activity doesn't have to mean gym if that's not your thing. My activity yesterday was doing a tip run. Today it's giving the house a deep clean ready for 🎅

New to Slimming World in January. I can't wait to try these mmmm

This years goal was to get healthier. I've embraced Slimming World food optimising for years and am happy with my weight but never really embraced their unique activity plan. This year I started training to run a Cancer Research UK Race for Life 5k. I completed that in July and have continued running ever since. Today I had my blood pressure checked and was told it was perfect. For the first time in my life my blood pressure is within the normal range 💪
After a bowel cancer scare this year, I thankfully got the all clear. Everyone was so great and to give something back I'm going to take part in a drug trial. It's to prevent bowel cancer. If I wasn't fit and healthy I wouldn't be able to do this trail which will hopefully save lives in the future .
I have so much to thank Slimming world for 💖
