Are you or a loved one in need of a little extra support at home? We are a trusted community care agency based in snodland now welcoming new clients across Snodland, Halling, West Malling, East Malling, Larkfield, Ditton and Aylesford.

We provide a wide range of personalised home care services, including:
• Personal care
• Medication assistance
• 30, 45, and 60-minute visits tailored to your needs
• Domestic tasks

Our services are available to elderly individuals, those living with disabilities, and anyone recovering after an operation who may need extra support during their recovery.

We are looking for compassionate, caring people to provide the support to enable our service users to remain in their own homes and to work alongside our current team of brilliant carers⭐️

As an employer, Direct Care will offer you support 7 days per week and you will be valued as one of our employees. We will work with you to ensure your continued professional development within our company⭐️

Part time and full time positions available with flexible hours.
Access to a car is essential🚗
Position is subject to a DBS which will be provided.
Training and uniforms are provided⭐️

Great rates of pay include £13.20 an hour to £26.40 per hour on bank holidays. Also some mileage allowance💵

We have seen many posts lately from pop up businesses advertising as personal assistants! These aren’t just individuals, these are actual businesses who are carrying out regulated activities and therefore need to be registered with the Care Quality Commission. They state that they have insurances and DBS checks but as they are not registered with CQC, no one is actually checking and you could have anyone turning up to look after you or a dear family member.
Please, if you are in need of care, make sure whoever you choose is registered with CQC.

Care work at Christmas 🌼❤️

It's six oclock Christmas morning,
The night shift are mopping the floor.
For ten hours they have been caring
they've given their all and some more.

And just as the new dawn is breaking
The next shift is ready to start.
Leaving their home and their family
signing their names on each chart.

Whilst the rest of the world is still sleeping
they're busy defrosting their cars,
ready to care for the elderly
each one a shining bright star.

Helping the sick and the lonely,
bringing a smile to their day.
Doing a job others laugh at,
coping with very low pay.

But they do it because they are carers,
they know the difference they make.
They are the ones to bring sunshine
where once there was only heart ache.

Holding the hand of a lady
as she reaches in the end of her life,
wiping the tears of an old man
who still mourns the loss of his wife.

Kind words to those who have no one,
guiding the ones who are lost.
Melting old minds who seem frozen,
chipping away at life's frost.

And they will be there over Christmas,
shining their light as they go.
Battling through winter's rough weather,
praying that there is no snow.

Lets stop and think of the care staff,
lets show them all some respect.
Each one is a trained up professional,
there to guide and protect.

So this Christmas remember all carers
who provide the calm in life's storm.
Filling old hearts with compassion,
keeping our elderly warm.

We would like to wish all of our service users and our lovely carers a very happy new year. Thank you to all our carers for all the hard work this year as it’s been another difficult year! Thank you for keeping all our service users safe and for stepping up when needed, showing true team spirit. We couldn’t have got through this year without you all and we feel truly blessed. Here’s to a happy 2022, let’s hope it is a better year for everyone.
