🖤🎃 A Bewitching Halloween at Eastcote Park 👻✨

Our residents were treated to a truly magical afternoon as the incredible Neil Mason took the stage for a Halloween special like no other! 🎶🦇
With music, laughter, and plenty of spooky sparkle, everyone waved their arms, clapped their hands, and danced along in style.
Our team of witches, pumpkins, and devils looked frightfully fabulous, bringing a touch of glamour and fun to the celebrations. 🧙‍♀️🎃😈

🇿🇼 A Celebration of Zimbabwe
Our Culture Month Grand Finale ✨

This week, we brought our Culture Month to a magnificent close with a beautiful celebration of Zimbabwe, a country close to our hearts, as many of our wonderful team members proudly call it home. ❤️

Residents were immersed in the sights, sounds, and flavours of Zimbabwe through armchair travel, cultural trivia, and a delightful tasting of traditional cakes. There was plenty of laughter as we sampled our very own marzipan caterpillars, a playful nod to an authentic Zimbabwean delicacy! 😄

The celebration continued with vibrant music, traditional dancing, and drumming, as residents joined in the rhythm of Africa. Muriel shone on the dance floor, while others kept the beat on the African drums, filling the room with joy and energy. 🥁💃✨

Our talented Chef Beth created a truly exquisite three-course Zimbabwean lunch, filled with colour, spice, and warmth, evoking fond memories for residents who had once visited Zimbabwe with their loved ones.

It was a perfect finale to our month of global discovery, a week of laughter, learning, and togetherness, celebrating the beauty of cultures that unite us all. 💛🌍

Today, Joan’s family brought in a new game, Mexican Train Dominoes and spent a wonderful afternoon playing together. Joan and her friend Marie joined in, sharing laughter and plenty of friendly competition! 🌸

The Wellbeing & Lifestyle Team are now excited to learn the game too, so that more residents can enjoy it in the days ahead. 🎲💖

A couple of days ago, at our ladies requests, we arranged a delightful shopping trip filled with laughter and a touch of indulgence. Others chose a quieter afternoon, enjoying a peaceful coffee stop and good company. Two beautifully elegant ways to spend the day, each with its own touch of simple luxury. 💫
