We like to stay ahead of the game at Swallows Meadow as well as supporting local businesses.
Last week Neil from the Shepherd Group came to show us their latest range of air purifiers and humidifiers.

Neil is going to demonstrate how their air purifiers improve the quality of the air in the environment. That's a real help when there are loads of winter bugs going around.

This is the small size unit that fits discreetly on a dressing table, runs quietly while it removes odours and cleans the air, and it has a night mode that turns off the light.
We are also testing a larger unit that cleans, sanitises, removes odours and humidifies.
A nice piece of kit!

Day in Day out, our residents have fun!
It's not only the activities staff working 7 days a week that bring a smile to the faces at Swallows, it's every member of the team!

This is the sort of fun we have all year round, but a few weeks ago Jimmy Riddle came and put on a Christmas special that kept us smiling all week.

While so many other workers were able to work from home - our care team still showed up! A big shout out to our fellow Social care and NHS colleagues and a special thank you to the staff at Swallows Meadow Court who were on duty during storm Goretti.
