When we started back in February everyone who joined was in that “ i don’t like the gym” mindset.

They were all complete beginners.

For some they never had been the for very long , others had given it a go but nothing stuck.

After 6 months we are seeing some incredible progress. People squatting with their body weight on their back!

Fixing injuries, Progressing their weights, moving better , getting faster and fitter each week.

Most importantly all of them have made their health & fitness a lifestyle.

After that late teens era, lots of men give up sport or were never in to it in the first place.

Through the 20s and forging a career physical activity reduces. Through the 30s there are the promotions, the partners , the pub and the kids.

Before you know it , everything feels a bit creaky and a bit soft. Physically you can be miles off where you were.

The graft and responsibility of life doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your self.
Some men never recover them selves.

The physical and mental wins you can get from strength and fitness is unmatched.

Craig is an awesome example of what can be done, when you choose to take back control of your body and your health.

We speak to many people each week who have the desire to get fit and healthy but have a negative experience of what gym is.

- I don’t like the environment
- Too many egos
- Too many people throwing weights around
- I get stuck waiting for the machines
- It was too hard

The most common reason people say is “I don’t know what to do when I’m there”

All of this leads to a resistance of actually going to the gym - and certainly being consistent and getting a result out of it.

We focus on helping people learn the basics of exercise. To understand how your body moves and feels . To strengthen what’s weak, and correct what’s out of alignment.

Once this happens everything feels easier - and this has to be specific to your body.

Your program should not be something 10 other people are doing it should be based on what your body needs around flexibility, stability, strength and mobility.

We are not a gym more of a coaching and training service that help people get a result

Our client Jayne came to us and exercise had become a big effort. Even though she was active with classes and walking, She wasn’t seeing results. her body was feeling stiff and consistently had niggles.

This was resulting in pain in her feet and ankle. From the first assessment we could see her movement and posture was pretty poor and this was the reason everything was feeling hard.

Fast forward a few months and she is hitting PB is in the gym every week training most days over 10 kg down and pain-free. Her movement has improved dramatically.

We massaged what was tight loosened what was stiff and strengthened what was weak and gave her exercises that were specific to her body

An incredible U-turn - fully back in control of our health and body.

Doctors and physios can be excellent at diagnosis. But they definitely aren’t always the best for a plan to get out of pain.

We have saved so many people from cortisol injections, operations just by strengthening them.

Of course injections and operations are necessary some times. But often the alternative or trying to strengthen/ rehab isn’t even entertained , sometimes the fix is down to just a couple of correct exercises.
