MUMS Clinic was established in 2003 and is owned by Miss Poonam Pradhan, Consultant Gynaecologist & Obstetrician and is the only private practice offering complete pregnancy or obstetric care at Consultant level in the entire Midlands area. Miss Poonam Pradhan offers a holistic approach and is supported by a team of Specialist Consultants and GPs. MUMS has always prided itself in not only being at the forefront of technological development in ultrasound but also for the psychological support when entering the realms of screening or diagnostic testing. Key Things to Know:
🔹Dr Chikermane is highly experienced in paediatric cardiology and specialises in cardiac paediatric ECHO and MRI
🔹An ECHO (echocardiogram) is an ultrasound scan of the heart. ECHO is often used to diagnose heart problems. Ashish will examine the whole heart including blood flow, the structure and how the heart function. Ultrasound of the heart is risk free and painless
🔹There is no preparation needed
🔹The scan will last for approx. 30 mins. The consultation will last for approx. 30 mins. The whole appointment will take an hour or so. The ECG before the consultation and echo will take 30 mins. You need to prepare for approx. 1.5 hours at MUMS
