What is SPLASH?
SPLASH (Somerset Paediatric Lifestyle Activity and Skills for self-Help) is a 12-month, family-focused programme for children aged 5 and under living with severe obesity in Somerset.
It offers early intervention tailored to each family's needs, supported by a team including a Psychologist, Dietitian, and Paediatrician. The aim is to help children and families build confidence, learn about food, activity, and overall wellbeing.

How can I refer?
We accept referrals from parent/carer, GP, Health visitor or any professional who is involved with the child’s care.
Our referral form and criteria are found on TeamNet. If you are unable to complete a referral form please include the following information in your referral letter – Child’s weight, height and any confirmed or suspected complications of obesity.

Dear Patients
We are happy to share that earlier this month, NHS Somerset approved our proposal to combine the contracts of the four practices within the South Somerset West Primary Care Network. The practices are now working towards combining contracts in mid-January 2026 and will become known as Symphony South Healthcare.
