A sad day for FMS

Yesterday morning David McLenachan passed away after a battle with MND.

An FMS volunteer who contributed a huge amount of his time to the media team and took many iconic shots of FMS in action.

Thanks to all the FMS members who contributed for specialist physio that helped him maintain his independence for a while longer. We will follow his wishes that the surplus money will go to the Bury Cancer Centre.

Fittingly David was able to see some of his photos used in the FMS calendar and to know that he has a legacy of fund raising for our charity projects.

Our thoughts and prayers are with David’s family at this time.
